A contest for the duds!

well i decide to buy in some light susex from a local farmer ... 4 hens and a roo ... i recently seperated them and they in a coop of their own !! figured out that from the 4 hens i only get an egg a day!!! guess he saw me coming and knew what he didnt want ...F3%$ ... but how does one tell ...don't even know how old they are ... might be arthritis holding them up!!

This time of year, it is not a big deal to have a dud. Decreasing light winter coming it is the time of the year they either delay laying, if they are pullets or stop laying if they are hens.
 
we almost approaching mid summer here ... girls should be popping them out

Ah, I wasn't think of this when I started this thread. Being summer for some people may give an advantage, haha, but a dud is still a dud. We are down to approximately 10 hours of light a day, and still getting shorter.

Lots of protein, plenty of calcium and minimal treats?
I have to rule here with an iron fist. Indoors and out!
Because my DH thinks treats=Love
But love does not =omelets
