Hi! Problem #1 - One of my hens is/was laying enormous eggs. they have what looks like stress cracks in the shell. When cracked open, the white is runny like water. I haven't tried eating them. What could be causing this?

Problem #2 - My hens have stopped laying recently. I had good production up until about 2 weeks ago. Coincidentally, we just found a resident rat living under the shed. Is it possible that this rat is not only stealing shat eggs are laid but stressing them out enough to make them stop production? I did not see any rodent droppings in the coop but I could have missed it. HELP PLEASE!

I see runny extra jumbo eggs, all of them, I myself got rid of those hens as I dont need extra jumbo size anyway,,,

Many things can stop them from laying, how old are they? Where in the world are you located?
Do get rid of the rat!

I'm not sure size of egg is what makes the white runny. I had a wyandotte who never laid a normal egg. They were fine for boiling but if you cracked them in a pan the white would spread out and fill the whole pan. They were medium sized but always a little elongated and had a ripple in the shell. Out of 11 hens she was the only one so I chalked it up to an internal hiccup with her. In her second year she seemed ill (egg bound or water belly not sure) and I culled her.
