A couple of questions

First, one of my black JG's never developed a red comb or waddles. They are kinda red, more black, kinda like old, dried blood. Here is a picture...will they ever turn red? Or is she some kinda freak? Oh, and she IS laying.

My second question is,,,,I have a splash JG that has gone broody. I've never heard of a JG setting on eggs. Anyone else?

Not sure about the comb...maybe it got frost bite???

As far as JG going broody - yes, I have a JG hen that has been broody twice according to the lady I got her from.
