i am going to order 24 fertilized eggs in about a week and i had a few questions.

I think i am going to get a hovabator with egg turner but still air(link below), and add a pc. fan. is this a good kind? also anyone no how to put the fan in?

Next the egg turner turns the eggs six times a day. i have heard you are supposed to turn the eggs an odd number of times a day. what to do?

And if anyone has any tips from past experiences or pretty much any info it would be appreciated. thanks
(obviously my first time hatching eggs)

THis is the link for the incubator:

The Auto-turner basically moves very slow and is continually moving the egg. I don't know anything about the incubator but I ordered two of their digital thermometer/hygrometers with probe and I will say you have to calibrate it. They are not accurate - one of mine is off by 2 degrees and 4% humidity and the other is off even more. Just type in "how to calibrate a thermometer" or "how to calibrate a hydrometer" in the search nav on this site and it will bring up how to do it. There is also lots of great how to information if you want to build your own incubator too. Building a incubator is not very hard and much cheaper. Are you having eggs shipped to you? If so, do a search on this site for 'shipped eggs air sack needs to settle before incubating. Good Luck.
