A Different Egg!

So one of my Golden Comets started laying last week, pretty little brown eggs. She usually lays between 10am-12pm so I like to sit out here and watch, since she doesn't seem to mind.

Well today her sister, my other GC hopped in her spot right after and laid her first egg! A pretty white and brown speckled egg!
Who needs television when you have chickens??

We're close, ha! We have two, one actually died last week, so I guess we only have one. We have our few select shows that we like, plus we like watching documentaries too. No satellite or cable though. Just $8 a month for our Hulu so we can our few guilt pleasures plus random DVD's. Although with it being summer, we find ourselves outside mostly these days....assuming it's not TOO hot. We got plenty of rain this past winter and spring in NorCal, but dang if it ain't hot!
