A dream come true-classes on chickens

Today, i will be attending a class on raising backyard chickens.

I'd never heard of this kind of thing till my friend emailed my and told me all about it, and now we're going together!!

I hope it will teach me lots of new stuff...

It should be useful... has anyone heard of this before?

The Seattle Tilth offers a couple different chicken classes (101, 201, and coop building). Seattle is cool like that.

We've got a workshop coming up here in Salt Lake City next month. Chickens are sweeping our city like a feathery tsunami!

The Denver Botanical Gardens holds classes to teach people how to raise chickens in their backyard.

I think it's a great idea and am glad that our city encourages city chickens!
