Just for some closure, this turned out ok. We realized if this duck had missed last years flight feather molt then these were the ones from two summers back! she is 2.5 so these must have been her first adult set. We were worried that she was heading for year three but Happy to report that she has finally joined her sisters in getting some more fashionable attire and has set in to a typical molt pattern. Interested to see if she puts on the winter coat this year as well…
