Well as some of you know a couple weeks ago I had trouble hatching 3 duck eggs. 2 had died and only one remained, but had a leg problem. Well today I am happy to say that during his/her first walk (due to the sudden lovely weather,) the surviving duckling is doing much better. She/he has grown about 3-4 times the original size, is starting to get prickly feathers, and follows me around the yard. Here is a pic of the little fuzzball:
TheRookie, he/she is most likely a Mallard Khaki Campbell cross and I can't wait to find out what he/she looks like as an adult (probably very closely resembling a mallard I would assume.) I'll post more pics when able.
