A few duck house questions

I have 6 Khaki Campbell's here unsorted about 3 1/2 weeks old. They're quite big and beginning to feather. I will keep 1 drake and eat the rest once I figure out which is which and/or they're big enough to eat.

So I built a little nesting box so that I can keep them outside overnight and eventually move the box down near the stream and have it as their permanent nesting site.

So the questions are:

1. Is my 2 foot by 2 foot by 4 foot nest going to be big enough? If not how many birds is that good for?

2. How cold can these things take it before I need to worry about taking them inside (assuming I have a 250W heat lamp in there on 40 degree nights until they're fully feathered).

3. Should I keep food and water in there with them? I worry a lot about water mostly since I'm running the shavings deep in there and really do not wish to change out that much shavings every day when they soak them out.

Thanks in advance.
