My Pekins are only a year and a half old, but so far they lay an egg pretty much every day - a few times they've laid two! My Welsh Harlequins on the other hand take several months off at a time.

Huh interesting thats really good for a Pekin. At least from the information I've seen online they usually only lay 160-200 per year

They also started laying three months before my welsh.

My WH started laying at 4 months old. Never gone more than a week without at least 1 egg from the two. They tend to stop when moulting though.
