A few of my chickens

Here are four of six of my 15 week old chickens. I took some pictures yesterday and thought I'd share.

One of them is shy and the other wasn't cooperating. lol

No idea what breed this one is, some kind of mutt. Cockerel

Ameraucana, another cockerel

Ameraucana, cockerel also (I love the long feathers in his tail)

Ameraucana, pullet (the only one out of that group)

They are all beautiful! What great pictures! How did you get them to stand still? Most of my pix of my chickens are blurs...

Thanks! Mama (used to be Big Mama b/c she was way bigger than the rest when we got them, but now is the smallest one) really is a pretty bird, and very sweet. She likes be ornery every once in a while and chase my younger birds, though.

They really weren't standing still, I just have a really fast camera. LOL That's why I said my one chicken wasn't cooperating, he wouldn't stop long enough for me to take his picture. haha The other one is shy and has this great ability to always be behind another bird so I can never get a picture of him alone.
