A few pics from today..... ** Graphic Pics **

Well when I wasn't plucking I managed to get a few pics. I bought 4 BIG cornish rocks I believe last week at the sale. Paid $2.50 a piece for them which is what really sold me on them. Ended up being 2 roos and 2 hens. Had my buddy come over and got them all done! Skinned 2 and split in half. And plucked 2 and left whole.

Please add Graphic Pics, Butchering to your title. I was eating my chicken dinner when I opened the innocuous sounding thread. I have nothing against butchering chickens, but don't want to see it while I'm eating.

And not trying to debate or fuel a fire but I would also like to say people shouldn't come into the Meatbird and expect not to see pictures of the butchering process or birds being butchered. I agree I should have posted on the title PICS but in my eyes these are not "graphic" they could be way worse and this is just part of the cycle. I say instead of everyone having to post GRAPHIC pics on their threads under the title on the main forum...

These threads show up on the "Recent Topics" list and other places where it isn't clear they are in the meat bird section. That's why we require the title be adjusted for threads with "graphic pics" as this one contains.

hey Sam! Do you process birds for other folks?? I have way too many roos that I can't even give away... I'd eat 'em but I don't know how to do the deed myself.
