a few pics of my phoenix pair

i will get pics sometime.i came home with a pair of silver pheonix bantams and when i got home my grandpa suprised me with a brand new 8 X 12 building as my coop. i couldnt believe my eyes when i saw it! i dont know when ill be able to get pictures. probably tomorrow. you cant even begin to believe how happy i am. and on top of that they even layed an egg for me that i stuck in the incubator. im pretty sure its fertile because i saw them mate plenty of times and they mated once when i got them back here.

i waited 7 hours at the sale for my birds to be up next. i didnt want no one getting my birds. they are mine! lol...! i dont know what im going to name them. i want something cool.

there gorgeous.there a little ratty from being in the cage all day and the rooster mates with the hen a little more then i would like. i know i cant stop that but i think i might separate them for a while to give her time for her to grow her feathers back.shes just missing her head feathers not her back. i gave them a bit of water and some bird seed for the night.there sitting on top of my freezer in an indoor rabbit cage until i put them in their own little pen tomorrow until ***************MY VERY OWN COOP IS DONE***************

my grandma kind of freaked when i told her they were in my room

...she wants to know something.....will/can they give me any kind of disease coming from the exotic sale?? i didnt think they could but i kind of also want to know......?

Very pretty birds, I've never had Pheonix chickens before, but they sound pretty neat! CONGRATS ON THE COOP! I sure wish I could have my own coop ...

They are very pretty! You got a good pair, as far as I know, the hens with the "rooter tails" is what you want for your future roosters. But again, beautiful birds.

i could have bought 2 other hens but they had real bad leg mites and didnt look as good as this pair. the hen that i got layed one egg at the exotic sale in the box and layed another one for me yesterday.the eggs are outside under a hen in the other coop. if they hatch ill put them in the cage out with my phoenix pair. ill show you what i mean when i get pictures this morning.


oh and i named the rooster pheonix and the hen arizona.​
