A few Question about eggs

1.Is it true or false eggs will not hatch if they cross over running water?
2.If order fertlie eggs and they ship them by mail will they hatch?

2. Some will some of the time. Results vary. Shipping can be hard on the eggs but if they're well packed & fresh you can generally get a successful hatch.

1. Never heard that one. Old wives tale probably.
2. I have never had eggs shipped, but wanted to share this...I had a hen shipped to me in Arizona from Kentucky. When she arrived, she had laid 2 eggs in the shipping box. They were unbroken. I stuck one of them under a broody. It developed, and I'm waiting for it to hatch next week or so.
