a few questions

ok so a few questions is there a certen time of the year that eggs are fertilized or is it all year long that they are ?
how long can you keep eggs that your chickens have left you in room temp wile building up to put them in the bator ?
what is the best way to place the eggs vertical or horizontal ?
i would love any help i can get

And if you will tilt the carton from end to end a couple of times a day, that will help too...... I prop one end on a cookbook - the other end rests on the counter and just move the cook book when I tilt the other direction

when incubating if you hand turn - you can use a cut down & holes cut in bottom egg carton to incubate on small end. Or you can lay on side
