A fun thought experiment: Create your ultimate "weird flock!"

Your list is almost identical to mine.
I'd add ayam cemani, cream legbar or sultan (something with headgear), and I know someone mentioned frizzles and polish, but honestly, combine the two for the best effect...

and I don't know what this guy is, but he's pretty spectacular

So Banty, if you could have any breed(s) you wanted, what would they be?
I already have the breeds I want. :D I am a weird one---I find beauty in uniformity rather than diversity. I had 'one of each' for the first several years but I'm now selling off all my others and focusing on Silver Ameraucanas and Partridge Chanteclers. They are almost the same breed in two different colour schemes except for some female plumage differences and the usual headgear and whatnot variations.

Wait, hold that. I'm still hoping for a Brahma pullet and a Svarthona pullet to keep as part of the pet flock. Other than that, I just want those other two breeds. I'll be keeping a few OEGB hens too from my current flock.

Sultans are neat. I considered breeding them for a while but they have the brains of a stapler and the genetic diversity of one too. I'm not up to that sort of challenge.

Legbars are pretty, but mine were spazzy little boogers and wicked bad layers, which is odd considering their Leghorn ancestry.

I like the mixed bag :)

Hope you find the Brahma and Svarthona you want!

Thanks. I had SH last year but the only pullet got killed by something and the male couldn't handle the cold. Love their looks and type though. I tried to get Brahmas too but the eggs were all infertile :(

Ugh, frustrating...Keep trying!

Add some Appenzeller Spitzhaubens! I'm getting some next month...
I think I'll get some wild looking crosses with my bantam cochin, d'uccle, and Sebright . Designer chickens......

It sure isn't. I keep OEGBs (1 lb) and Chanteclers (9 lbs) together---no issues.
Yup. I have my Buckeyes and d'Anvers together. Faverolles do not mind mixing with other breeds, neither do Silkies. I am sure that size does not matter or disposition, just how healthy the birds are.
