My Coop
My Coop
My poor flock may have to endure yet another coop change. Will they be very stressed out?

I am discovering my recent coop/run redesign is not practical for me. Getting to the coops to feed and clean is just a nightmare. Oh, the flock is happy with it, but they don't have to do anything but hang-out and lay eggs.

In the next six weeks I will have to redesign the coops and run again. How much stress does this cause my darlins? How can I reduce the stress?

I've made major changes to mine over the last two months. They run away for all of five minutes then come investigate what's new. As long as they can find what they need (food water nest) I wouldn't worry about it. I change things around in my run periodically just to keep boredom down.:D

Don’t worry, your chickee-doodles will be fine.
Though they don’t like change, it sparks their curiosity more if you make frequent changes. Just a bit investigating and I’m sure they’ll settle in ;)
