My two BLRW's looked really different so I emailed a pic to the seller to ask why. [IMG]

She just got back to me and told me the big yellow one is a Buff Orp! [IMG] I have wanted one since I had to re-home my Splash Orp for violating the terms of her probation. So, now I have one by happy accident! Better be a hen!

Anyway the seller was great about it. She said the week after she sent mine, her grandkids got into the eggs and mixed them up. Apparently it wasn't the first time. [IMG] Kids! Gotta love 'em!

Anyway I am getting 6 more BLRW eggs to try! [IMG]

Quote:I bought the eggs on eBay from a lovely lady with beautiful birds. None broke during shipment but 4 quit before they hatched. Seller offered me 6 free eggs if I would split the shipping with her! Are you kidding me? Send me the eggs and I'll pay the shipping! Should have asked if her grandchildren would be visiting before I get my eggs! Maybe I'll get another Buff Orp and make a pair! [IMG]
