To try to deter weasels, moles etc, I stapled hardware cloth on the edges of the doors inside. It hangs over the gap at the bottom of the door an extra inch and scratches on the floor when you open and close the door.

Maybe this will deter them.

I had the raccoon problem earlier this year. I feed my outdoor cat by my house, one day my cat was gone.. he moved...3 miles down the road. I had to get him. Then I thought about WHO was eating his food. So we put out a live trap, we caught a few HUGE coons. We put a bit of spray paint on them and took them for a midnight ride...We have never seen that family again. We stopped trapping because we have not had signs of them. I now make sure that all of my birds are in by dark.
