I'm glad y'all enjoyed the story!! I'm happy to say Doppy and chick have made it through another weekend and were doing fine as of this afternoon.

I actually think toads are kind of cute.

I'm one of those people who tries not to kill anything if possible. My husband and I catch bugs that get in our house, roaches included, and put them outside. I have to admit though, if there is a mosquito I do try to kill that. But anything else I generally try to save it.
