I can see the saddle feathers on both quite well,From this photo I do not see any saddle feathers
they are wide and rounded rather than skinny and pointed.

Those both look like pullets, looking at the saddle feathers.
Could be soon for eggs, pullets can get noisy as hell as the time approaches.

As others have said, they both look like hens to me. Speaking of the egg song, whenever one of my hens start singing it the rooster starts doing it too.(though it does sound slightly different.) And then at least one other hen will get excited and start squawkin.
I hope you get some soon! It’s so exciting when pullets first start laying.Thanks...and you're right, sometimes it's a bit of a quior lol. The Araucana isn't "squatting" yet but the other girl has been for a few days now. Fingers crossed we will get some eggs in the next week or 2.
