Until they crow one day.... and lay an egg the next!
Oh yes, forgot about those crowing hens ... I had one. We've had feral chickens running around, seen hens but never a roo. Then I one morning I caught my hen crowing
Thought it was just a phase (she was laying) but never stopped so she had to go cause she was pretty loud & I'm not suppose to have Roos. Although I think what's not wanted is the crowing in a residential neighborhood
