silkiechicko5, I think it's safe to assume they died in a house fire.
Josh, I am so sorry for you, both the kids and their loved ones. I hope you continue to find peace and love with your memories of them and happier times.

Yes It was a house fire.. It was started by a pet rabbit.. He had chewed on an old a/c unit that was still plugged in .. We found him about 6 inches from the wire.. The craziest thing is the kids mother and I were at the at 1am and by 5 am when we get off work the inside of the house was decimated.. the firemen didnt feel the need to check the house for survivors. evne though it was 5am on a school day and there were cars in the driveway.. It completly shattered my world and their mothers.. Thank God she survivied the loss of them.. I wouoldnt have made it without her.. I had been in the childrens lives for 8years at that point... My biggets issue I still have to day is that this was the first time I had ever done CPR.. I had been certified for 5 years but Harrison was the first time and he didnt survive.. I fear everyday that I caused him pain in his last moments on this planet...
Thank you all for reading and sending your incouregment.. Any holiday or special time it hits me again...
My heart goes out to you. I lost my son ten years ago and every now and then it hits hard and it feels like it was yesterday all over again. There is a big hole in my soul and there always will be. Bless you and their mother and many hugs.
That is terrible. I am so sorry that happened to you and their mother. Just remember the quote from Dr. Seuss in your signature. It is completely true.
