Hi,
I'm newish to the community. I was part of the group but deleted my Facebook account and only recently found the website. Here's a little about us: We started raising twelve chickens in 2019; four of which turned out to be roosters. We gave three away, initially wanting to keep the Americana; however, he proved to be too aggressive and went to live with the other roosters a year later. Last year, snow and ice falling from the roof of the coop killed three. This year, we lost two; though, I'm not sure why. The chickens didn't have signs that they had been ill. Now, we have just two Barred Rocks and one Brahma, with the latter having severe frostbite on her feet. (I'll post on the appropriate thread with details.) We plan to get more chicks in the next week or so.
