A little pigeon help

Hey guys, i just purchased a pair of younger White King pigeons and I just had a few questions and I was wondering if anyone could answer them.
Ive had rollers before, but I know kings are "utility" birds, do kings fly? And if they do, will they come back to their home if let out to fly? (Just curious)
The guy said they were born around april, when will they want to start having their own chicks? I know people make little "nest bowls" for them, does that seem to work well?

The king pigeons I had were excellent fliers. They had a fair homing instinct as well. They should be nesting anytime soon is my opinion.

I use a 10 inch dog bowl I purchased at the dollar store. You could also employ a 5 gal bucket. You should have 2 nest bowls available for on pair of birds is my experience.

Were you had rollers before you probably forgot more than a lot of people know about pigeons.

King pigeons are great and powerful flyers! You can feel just how powerful they are when you pick em up! I've had my five sence around march, but they haven't bred so I can't answer the nest bowl question, chances are they'd use one.
