A Little Ray Of Sunshine

Pretty! arent those hard to grow or something?

Orchids hang in their pots in the shade and need water. Mrs. Thaiturkey might feed them from time to time. The bushes just grow and grow but might get water in the dry season. We gave them feed once and got only leaves for our trouble!

What a perfectly delightful thing to do Thai!

You're such a sweetie to try and brighten our winter doldrums!

Edit... OY bad conjugation is just embarrassing.

We are heading for January and February, the SAD months in the UK which I always hated. I don't know what was worse, going to work on cold, wet and dark mornings or being unemployed at that time of year. We don't suffer that weather here so I'm happy if a few people feel a little bit better for seeing some natural colour. It's going to be a miserable winter for some.

Birdaholic, orchids here are cheap as chips and grow very easily. I find the blooms very relaxing as the sit quietly in the shade. People here make garden swings from reclaimed wood and add a slatted top from which they hang orchids so that they can sit amongst them.

As I look out my window to another cold, grey day with snow threatening - my eyes were blinded with the beautiful colors of your flowers...Thank you - what a kind and considerate soul you are to think of us....
