A little stressed... Day21/22 and still NOTHING! HELP!

Sounds like an LG still air but I can't be 100%. I agree the knob to adjust the temp in those things is crazy sensitive. I think your eggs will for the most part be ok just a few days late.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Thank you very much for your imput. As I said I am a newbie. After reading all the other post I feel a lil better. Some were saying up to 24 days they could hatch. I really hope they start tonight or tomorrow. I have prepared myself and students for the worst but would love for them to see the best. lol .. Trying to stay glass half full the chicken hatching is much more stressful than I thought it would be. The anticipation is killer.

I am with you on the waiting!!! At least we aren't alone. What kind of chickens are they? (Trying to distract you here!

lol... Big variety ...Sussex, Australorp, Rhode Island Red, and White Leghorn... Thanks. I feel real antsy as I get ready to go to the school this morning.

Have a lil crack on one egg... YAY! Just when I had lost hope the start of a pip. Just praying he will work him a lil bigger hole and Unzip. Maybe while we are at lunch.

Not to worry.. that's what we are here for!!!

And different locations bring on different conditions. Your school for instance is a nice 72 degrees lower humidity due to the HVAC system... The might have incubated in a barn, office, drafty room, not sealed room so their initial temp might be different than yours due the the difference in room humidity and temp.

If your bator does not have a fan inside of the bator, it is a still air. The temp in a still air is 99.5.. if your bator looks like this and it doesn't have a big fan directly under the lid it is a still air.
