A long time lurker finally made the leap

I think I’ve already failed my hatch on day 3. I have three different thermometers in my homemade incubator - a candy making mercury thermometer, a digital bought off Amazon that also keeps track of humidity and a Netatmo indoor station. All three give me different readings which is frustrating in itself, but I’m trusting the mercury thermometer. My daughter turned the eggs today and did not replace the metal mesh that I had placed between the eggs and the heat lamp. When we went to turn them tonight, the mercury thermometer registered 125* (the digital registered 127* and Netatmo registered 86*) and may have been that high for 6-7 hours. I’ll keep turning and candle on day 7 and see how they look.

I did, just using my iphone light - all I see is a yolk and the air pocket. I don’t see any blood vessels. I‘m losing hope....
