At what age are A&M quail mature enough to be sexed?

Your talking about the white Coturnix quail? And how to do it? I have been told on here that it can be done with their vent. Look for foam?

Ha!! Grab a case of beer and sit and wait for them to crow or start foaming at the vent... no other way... mine took 11 weeks. Lots of watching to see who breeds who and vent checks... thats a big setback with the a and ms...

sniper, I tried that once, a case might be a little too much though. I just drank and waited for one to crow. When it did, I moved it to another cage. The next day, it laid an egg.
