The little ones arrived today and seem to be doing well so far. After the initial dip of the bill when I took them out of their shipping box, they have had no problems finding the water. They each spent some time filling up and then off to investigate the brooder! All have started eating the purina flock grower with no problem. The entire group seems healthy and active. They love to zoom around and then plop down under the lamp for a quick nap and then more water, food, and exploring. I have a couple of questions though. When do I need to start adding the brewer's yeast, is now ok or wait a few days, and how much? How soon should I introduce chopped greens? Since they are only eating crumbles at this point, do I provide grit immediately or wait until greens are introduced? At what point do I need to seperate the goslings and ducklings? They get along fine at the moment. I will post some pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it. Thank you!
