Yeah...I liked that idea too...until they ate none of the cabbage. They like squashes and I've done that for them before, but obvs I can't constantly feed them squash or treats :]Maybe one of those hanging cabbages?
We plan on making one, but our chickens are ex-bats and they don't really like perching. As you can see there is one next to the feeder, they haven't used it at all...Okay. That's fair. What about a swing roost? When they hop on, they're supposed to swing a bit
I love this idea! That'd be easy as heck... take out the top wood and put it in at an angle inbetween... ooooh! We have a large black water store we are going to make a dustbath with!I would take that pallet off the ground and make it into the ladder, which I would lean against the side of the run. I'd also try to make a tire dust bath with some dry dirt and sand.
The run already has hella ton leaf litter, they sure do enjoy scratching at it!get 3 more pallets, and make a box. Fill it to the top with leaf litter and they will scratch at it all day.
