When I was growing up in the Hudson Valley back in the '50's when deer were rare and the hunting season was short seeing them was always a thrill. Now that they are everywhere and vermin spreading ticks and Lyme disease I'm not that thrilled, especially when they are eating my garden and rhododendrons. BTW when I got up this morning there were 4 does and 2 fawns munching away on the lawn between the house and coop.
