"Well.... Not really. I got-" she paused for a moment, "I got.... Bat ears." She said in a whispered tone.

Jade silently walked up to the other girls. "You guys too?"

Max took Tim to the park after a while, bringing a soccer ball and football. She jumped out of her car, parked on the side of the road near the sports field. She bounced the ball from knee to knee, waiting for Tim to put his stuff away. She raced him to the field, winning as always, given the advantage of very long legs. She grinned. "Game on." Tim nodded, a determined look on his face.

Beatrix curled up under a tree. "What is happening?" she muttered, raking her fingers through her hair, "It's freshman year! I should be worried about my science experiment, not being a science experiment!"

Max heard and felt a clinking in her pocket and she pulled whatever it was out. She frowned as she saw the necklace. She'd been given this by a creepy stranger guy the night before, but she'd just stuffed it in her pocket instead of wearing it. Now it was in the way of the game. She shrugged and put it on so she could continue the games then kicked the ball hard across the length of the field and into the goal. "Ha! Sweet!" She said, grinning. She raced down the field and got the ball again, kicking it to Tim so he could have a try.
