After lurking around here for a few days, I've decided it's probably better to introduce myself before I ramble about my silkies.
Recently I have become addicted to chickens, though considering I've been obsessing over them since August, maybe it should have happened sooner. But now, with six silkie chickens in the mail from MPC, it's official.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am very new to the world of chickens; I haven't even gotten my chickens yet!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have zero at the moment
(3) What breeds do you have?
None at the moment, but I have a few silkies that will hatch on November 14th.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I typed in chicken forum on Google. And here I am!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Writing, drawing, and looking for snakes.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm not really that interesting of a person, but I also have two ring necked doves named Zephyr and Eggnog.
I'm glad to be here with other chicken lovers, as the saying goes:
"Birds of a feather flock together"
