hello gang,
this morning after some prep I was able to get some chicks from TSC.
I wanted to raise chickens because I think the family will enjoy it.
not doing this for eggs (but that is a bonus.) not doing it with the silly dream of making mad cash and retiring early. pets with possible benefits. I live on the edge of town......luckily zoned okay for chickens!!!
the chicks are doing well for just comming home today. drinking and eating well. now they're quite vocal too.
I had Turken or "Naked Necks" available. cheaper than online ordering that I was contemplating and don't have to worry about DOA.
hoping to learn a lot by reading the different forums here.
off to check on the babies again!
