Yesterday I processed some CXs and my mean rooster. This is the first time I processed anything but a young meat bird where when you pull the guts out, the little pills are left behind. I knew they would be bigger on the one year old roo but wow. When I pulled his guts out, I looked inside and didn't see them. Then I looked at the gut pile and

No wonder he was so ornery.

Yep, that's them.

I described them to my Mom on the phone last night and she thinks maybe there was something wrong with them. I knew he was healthy so I didn't agree. Apparently I was right. He was a handsome Wellie but he decided he had it out for me, and I decided I would win.

OMFG!!! Now just when I thought I have heard it all. I knew in certain parts of the world monkey balls, but also note in same place eat monkey brains and drink poisonous venoms. So not trusting their taste.
Turkey balls, Oh god, I think I will pass.
