ScrappyChicken, heya! When do you think it's gonna cool down? I was talking to an
acquaintance yesterday who has a friend who has lost 4 hens to this heat. She purports
the person has plenty of shade . . . I think the idea of misting or something might REALLY
be in order here. Pretty sure the gals can take the cold lots better

Hubby's getting on board! Last night when he came home from work, he told me he figured
a way to DOUBLE the run size, lol. Me, I'm hoping for a break in this heat before I can begin
building the coop. So excited though I have visions of something that will be 12' long,
5' deep, and 6' high, lol. Well, we'll see . . .
