Oh, those are adorable... Now that is the look of love... LOL

When we were kids, my brother was given two ducks and they stayed in his room , in a box--(yea right!). My mom found them in the bed with him on more than once and they would snuggle under his arms and sleep as sound as can be.. He would place a towel under them and sorta wrap them... In the morning he would take them into the shower with him... ?They would nibble on his toes and quack and do their business, then it was out to their pen.. They lived like that for almost a yr.

I hoep she enjoys them as much as he enjoy his ducks...

Dont you love it when they snuggle their sweet little fuzzy heads under your chin and in your neck?

Gosh ducklnigs are the best- what a lucky kid!

Did you see that other BYCer that makes and sells duck diapers? I think it was like 10 bucks made and shipped. Not bad at all!

oh no! Me, Johnny and June would be out on the curb with our sticks and bags over our shoulders and my thumb out in the wind!

She is a lucky girl to have duckies love her so much!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!! That is SO cute Bec.

I love ducklings but I don't think it be fair to make some ducks live without a pond where I am. Plus don't they poop ALOT more than chickens?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that it's safer if ducks live in a pond where they can dive in case a hawk attacks and they're pretty much safe from most predators unless a snapping turtle gets in the pond.

They make a HUGE mess! After you raise them and they are all grown, the following spring comes around and I rescue more. I am quickly reminded just how messy they are!

Some of my ducks go to the pond, but most of the day they hang out here. Our ponds are a couple of acres away. I have never had a problem with hawks and my ducks, but all of them are larger breed ducks except the call ducks, but they DO live at the pond full time.

As long as you provide them with a baby pool to have some fun in, they are pretty happy little things!
