Thanks everyone I have another little baby breaking free now . I hope to get atleast two more to hatch but no signs of anyone else pipping but hey still have two days and thanks everyone again for the kind words
I am glad he is doing so well and he is a cutie!!!
I thought is what odd that at about the same time you posted, I had an NN chick with his intestines coming out too. He did not have it wrapped around the leg, it was more and more of his intestines coming through a little hole. I got everything back in place and the little one did poop so I believe things will be working OK for him. But I could not get anything to stick for a dressing over the hole last night!!! So, I am running for superglue today to give that a try.
How is your little guy doing this morning?

Actually the intestines do develop outside of the chicks body and are absorbed around day 14/15. Sometimes they will stick to the egg membrane and are not completely absorbed. This is a condition called Gastroschisis (not uncommon). I honestly am unsure about an encasement membrane? When you gut a chicken the intestines do kinda fall out like a bag of yarn?
He is doin great this morning and so are his buddies here is a pic of him and his buddy and I keep calling it a him which I hope it's not a he lol so I have to remembe to call it a it lol

Thank you and I am glad yours is doing so well! He looks great! I know I am saying he too and I hope that doesn't mean he is a he!!!
I will get some pics of mine after I get the superglue done. Everything is still in place but I can see the intestine through the hole so I definitely need to get that skin closed somehow. He did eat and drink and looked very bright this morning. I am calling mine a he too! LOL
Which I hope not as well. I am amazed both are doing so well after this and yours is such a cutie! Mine is a little Blondie. I will definitely get some pics later to show you!
