We are going to separate for a few weeks!! It will make my stress level much lower. She was teaching them how to eat today. It is the cutest!Sounds like you and broody have things under control! I think that’s all you can do for now to get her out a while, and good idea on the brooder. I’m sure she’ll be fine so long as she’s drinking.
We kept our chicks and broody separate for 3 weeks because of the other hens, and think it’s a good job we did judging on their reactions while we supervised. They are a lot better now the chicks are fending for themselves.
