The Seasons...

The time has come, Fall has ended.
Tree boughs are low with their frothy white burden.
The ground is covered with cotton candy.
The time has come, Fall has ended.
All the fireplaces are lit with red,
To warm the children in their bed.
The time has come, Fall has ended.
The time has come, Fall has ended…
The time has come, Winter has ended.
The ground is covered with the clothes of daisies.
Sun breaks through the milk-white clouds.
The time has come, Winter has ended.
The air is full of the baby-birds first song.
Deer in the meadow prance about the new lawn of green.
The time has come, Winter has ended.
The time has come, Winter has ended…
The time has come, Spring has ended.
The air is now thick as pudding.
Water from earth is sucked to above.
The time has come, Spring has ended.
The grass starts to turn brown and die,
While the fan sings us a lullaby.
The time has come, Spring has ended.
The time has come, Spring has ended…
The time has come, Summer has ended.
The leaves are turning to fire.
Days grow shorter and nights grow longer.
The time has come, Summer has ended.
The cold is starting up again.
Trees are losing all their leaves.
The time has come, Summer has ended.
The time has come, Summer has ended.
The time has come yet again to start this poem over again…
