A present for a friend - hen and chicks

I had a broody hen and a friend who's slowly building his flock came round and on the spur of the moment I said he must bring some fertilised eggs and I'll put them under broody. She hatched out 5 beautiful little chicks yesterday and I gave him my hen and the chicks today. Was a little sad to see them go, but he gave me a chick he hatched under a borrowed broody from one of my special hen's eggs awhile ago. It meant a lot to me as it was his very first hatch and he didn't get many chicks.
So I thought I'd do something nice for him. Seeing the look on his face when he saw the chicks and when I gave him the hen and babies to take home was enormously rewarding. He dotes on his chickens, so I know they will be in good hands.
