I have completely black (with some white) chicks with brown feathers coming in. Do only sexlinks do this, or is there other breeds as well? The reason I am asking, is I keep seeing pictures of chickens with the same markings as black sexlink hens, black with red neck feathers. (I actually have one, a Japanese cross bantam). So I just got to wondering if this is a sexlink trait, or if that is the way this coloring works. Thanks!
