A question about doves

Hi,I'm new to this website.I'm hoping someone on here knows about doves because I have a question.I found an egg on the ground which I think is from Song Thrush and I have put it under my dove(she has just started incubating her own egg as well) and I'm wondering,if it hatches out can it survive on the 'pigeon milk' from the dove? Because I know garden birds live on worms and insects. Thanks
