I have a nice flock of young (5-6 week old) chickens and a flock of young ducklings (2 weeks old) that I hatched out in my 'bator. The chicks feathered out on their wings really quickly and compared to the size of their bodies, the chicks wings looked h-u-g-e! But the ducklings are the exact opposite. Their wings are puny compared to the size of their bodies! It sort of reminds me of a T-Rex, big body and little bitty arms!
This may seem like a weird question but, when do duckling's wings finally catch up with the size of their bodies? Do their wings go through a big growth spurt at some point? Right now they just look so odd with the big bodies and tiny wings.
