Is veining what you should see eight days before hatch?
When do you start to see movement?
Now I'm asking questions because I never got the hang of candleing. Probably because I never rigged up a veiwer as clever as Daniels.

I do know some ducks eat cabbage, I hear that they particularly like a type of cabbage called bok choy.

I don't know how well they will share the ducklings, especially since you are down to two eggs. I'm still wondering if you should take out one of the hens at some point but that is a really tough call. Maybe you should watch very closely for a long time when they hatch to decide.

They eat my grass and weeds!

When they were in the brooder I would chop up dandelion leaves, chard, beet and turnip greens, and lettuce. They also love frozen green peas, just thaw them out first. It's fun to throw the the peas at them and watch them go for it, and they also love you for giving it to them.
