A Quiet Walk on a Sunday Morning

After a rather calm night

The rising sun was hidden by a blanket of grey clouds so the mushrooms blossomed

A tiny spider spins a tiny web in this one inch crevice between a rock and the ground

Delicate flowers open their petals to the rain heavy sky

. Here in NJ it is pouring so my 'early morning walk' was cancelled.

Thanks for the compliments! I don't know what that 'banana' flower is called-I can't find my flower book. Anyway, I'm using a tiny Canon PowerShot Elph 100 HS so I don't have to lay on the ground to take those mushoom shots.

I'm growing a nice selection of 'shrooms this year.
