Luke is a bit spoiled, I must admit.
Vader... I mean, it was his own dang fault that Padme died... And then he had to play deadbeat dad for the twins. [I know, I know, I'm just sayin'!]
He was my first heart-throb and I've had a real weakness for anyone since then that had an air of innocence (including a touch of naivete), an eagerness and determination and optimism for good causes (albeit sometimes awkwardness), and steadfast vision...
his light hair was also an appealing symbol of youth, good, purity, etc. to me.
Okay ... I gotta admit it. I voted for Luke. Honestly, I don't know why! I'm going by who I liked best when Star Wars originally came out, and that was Luke. I guess I just have always wanted to find out that I was meant to be a jedi Knight (or some other cool heroic/magical being), and here was Luke who turned out to have a destiny and get a cool light saber besides.
Actually Leia was my favorite over them all, but these days I find Obi Wan kenobi to pretty fab (no, I'm not ancient -- yet!).
You could have given us all a few more options....Maybe add in Jabba the Hutt... Jar Jar Binks.. Maybe an Ewok or two.... Yoda even !!!!
My first Star Wars action figure was Luke followed by Princess Leia... BUt I would have to vote for Han Solo... But only because he didnt kiss his own sister...
Quote:
I think Yoda is telling Luke that "my ally is the force and a powerful ally it is"....it is singular, the force. Force can be either singular or plural depending how one would want to use force in a sentence.
Like Spock says "May the force be with you!" That is singular, IMO.
