Last night we had a hard core volleyball match a friends. While [laying I tweaked my back, so I can't bend over much. My knees, I have bruises on both. My feet, a guy stepped on them and made them black and blue, and my heel has been hurting for a while.
So, today at running practice caoch said ok guys easy distance 5 mles. I said no problem. At mile 4 I started to ache worse then ever. Me and 2 other kids try to make take a short cut back to the school and we end up adding another mile on top of the 5. So 6 miles in pure pain. So, tonight I might just kick back with a non alchoholic beverage and a couple of aleve and just relax.

You can make one. Take a towel and wet it. Make sure you wring out the extra water then put in a small trash bag and tie up. Then place another towel entirely over the bagged one and microwave to desired temperature.

A long, hot shower would work for my 2 kids. You must run xcountry with an easy 5 mile run! I suggest you ice that heel, that may be a lingering problem for you, while the other "injuries" just need some time. The Aleve is good too.

Hope you feel better in the morning!

Another "heating pad" idea. Take an athletic (tube) sock, fill with white rice. Tie knot in end. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Instant heating pad that lasts awhile.

My DD ran x county and track, and played bball. DS was football and has 2 plates and 12 screws in his arm to prove it.

I'm glad you love running, it is a discipline and exercise you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
