This morning we found our black chicken on the floor not moving.
The only signs that are out of the norm is a rather dirty rear and slight runny nose.
If anyone could help on what to do that would help, thanks.

Just an update unfortunately she has passed away.
She was at least in side in the warmth with us.

Thank you.
She was always a little different to the other chickens but I didn't see this coming.
Our chickens are feral I guess you'd say. We moved here and there was one chicken.
Then the neighbours cockerel came over and then she had chicks.
I couldn't knowingly end the potential for life. And she seemed really happy to have chicks.
They have a place where they can lay eggs and sleep but they always sleep in the tree as that's what the mother taught them.
It must've been some thing serious for her to be running around yesterday eating etc for this to happen so quick.
Anyway I've rambled on, it's just hit me a lot harder than I thought.
She was a special one.
